Management Reporter

Management Reporter, new financial report writer that is based on the functional concepts of Microsoft FRx and is a part of Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server, is a new report writer designed to allow you to create and generate financial reports that can be distributed across your entire organization. Management Reporter works directly with Office PerformancePoint Server, or it can be used as a stand-alone report writer with integration with Microsoft Dynamics or any general ledger, ensuring real-time accurate data directly from the source.

Management Reporter retains many elements of the Microsoft FRx product but is built on a completely updated architecture that will provide a new level of scalability and reliability for medium-sized businesses. Additionally, reports can be quickly organized into folders and multiple versions can be managed all from a single location- a SQL Server-based report library. Security can be defined at the report level which allows you to define access rights specific to each individual report. Finished reports can also be quickly updated to eliminate the need to create and format new reports each time a new one is needed. Users can quickly access the reports to view summarized data, or they can drill down into account or transaction-level details, allowing for immediate interactive analysis.
